Our pieces
Are your pieces really embroidered by hand?
Yes. Our napkins and tablecloths are hand-embroidered in Fez, stitch by stitch, by female artisans. A single piece can take several days to complete.
Are all the pieces identical?
Not quite, and that's part of their charm. Handcrafting leaves slight variations in shade or pattern from one piece to another: they are the artisan's signature.
What material are they?
Our Signature tablecloths are embroidered on Fes fabric, the traditional fabric used by the embroiderers of the medina, made of 60% polyester and 40% cotton. Durable and easy to care for, it is machine washable, quick-drying, and wrinkle-resistant. Upon request, we can also embroider our designs on 100% cotton or linen fabric: just contact us.
How do I care for my embroidered linen?
Machine wash at 30°C inside out with similar colors; wash separately for the first wash. Avoid bleach and harsh stain removers, which could damage the embroidery. Allow it to air dry rather than tumble dry. If necessary, iron on medium heat inside out to preserve the texture of the stitching. In case of a stain, rinse quickly under cold water before washing.
What size tablecloth should I choose?
Allow approximately 25 to 30 cm of drop on each side of the table. Our tablecloths are available in three sizes: square, 150 × 150 cm, for a square or round table of approximately 90 cm; rectangular, 150 × 250 cm, for a table of approximately 90 × 190 cm; round, 200 cm in diameter, for a round table of approximately 140 cm.

Which payment methods do you accept?
Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and PayPal. All payments are secure.
Can I give a piece from Dar Alma as a gift?
Of course. Each order is carefully packaged in tissue paper and a cardboard box, with a handwritten note. If you would like to add a message for the person you are gifting it to, please include it in the order notes.
Delivery
Where do you deliver?
In France, the European Union, the United States, Canada, and Morocco. For any other destination, please write to us at contact@daralmahome.com.
What are the delivery times?
Each order is prepared and shipped from Morocco within 1 to 3 business days. Then allow 7 to 12 business days for France and the European Union, 10 to 20 business days for the United States and Canada, and 2 to 5 business days for Morocco. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.
Will I have to pay customs duties upon delivery?
No. For deliveries outside Morocco, customs duties and import taxes are included in the shipping costs shown before payment.
Returns
Can I return an item?
Yes, you have 14 days from receipt to return an item to us, without having to provide a reason. Items must be in their original condition, unused and unwashed. Return shipping costs are at your expense, and returns are sent to our address in France. All terms and conditions are detailed in our returns policy.
My item arrived damaged, what should I do?
Write to us as soon as possible at contact@daralmahome.com, with a photo. Together we will find a solution (replacement or refund), free of charge for you.
