Our story

The house of the soul

Dar means house in Arabic. Alma means soul in Spanish. By bringing these two words together, we wanted to speak about what moves us: homes where people are welcomed, tables set for the ones we love, and objects that carry the trace of a hand.

Fez embroidery

Fez is one of the capitals of Moroccan craftsmanship. For centuries, a singular embroidery has been practised there, terz fassi: geometric patterns, often stitched in a single colour, with such precision that the front and the back look alike. A discreet, refined embroidery, handed down through the generations.

Pieces chosen one by one

We live in Morocco, and we select each piece in Fez, from craftswomen we know. We look at the quality of the fabric, the regularity of the stitch, the finish of the edges. Only the pieces we truly love join the collection.

From Fez to your table

Every order is prepared with care: folded in tissue paper, placed in its box, with a handwritten note. Because receiving embroidered linen is already the beginning of welcoming others.
